Tertulias de cine en el MUSAC
Casa África and its Cinenómada programme, which is managed by Al Tarab, have collaborated once again with the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Castilla y León (MUSAC). On this occasion, Cinenómada will provide two files as part of the Film Discussions programme, each in a different film season.
The first screening will be Nos lieux interdits, which will be shown on April 1st as part of a film season that addresses the topic of disappearances, coinciding with an exhibit by Gervasio Sánchez.
The second screening provided by Cinenómada is Como un uomo sulla terra, which will be shown on June 3rd, also as part of the Film Discussions programme, in a second film season centred on the evolution of the concept of crime related to the Vitrinas Sobre Hipatia Project, a magazine edited by MUSAC and created by women at the Mansilla de las Mulas jail (León).

Casa África sponsors Cinenómada because it has the same objective as Al-Tarab of making African cinema visible to as many Spanish audiences as possible and of brining Africa closer to Spain.
Cinenómada makes available to various entities a large selection of films from past editions of the FCAT, subtitled in Spanish, which is to date the only offering of this dimension and genre that exists in Spain and that guarantees African producers an income, which although modest, is often the only one they receive.
It targets associations, municipalities, regional governments, universities, cultural centres, film libraries, museums and any type of organisation or institution that is interested in promoting African cinema. Cinenómada distributes films throughout the year that would otherwise remain only in specialised festivals.
