Curso sobre Partenariados Público Privados (PPP)
All countries need to invest in infrastructure to advance their development. International experience indicates that public-private partnerships are the best way to mobilise the resources required to carry out these investments.
With this objective and understanding that training is a fundamental element in the whole process, technicians from the national agencies of the member states of the ECOWAS (Economic Community of West African States) will be in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria from 19 to 23 March to receive training and visit facilities of interest.
This training will take place at Casa África, as did the first phase of the training in 2017. Companies from the Canary Islands will also attend the meeting with the aim of exploring synergies with the countries represented there.
Casa África is participating in this training within the framework of an agreement signed to organize PPP courses that allow attendees to acquire the necessary tools to optimize decision making in PPP projects. The course will be attended by experts in infrastructure and energy.
Representatives from countries such as Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Ivory Coast, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo will attend this second course at Casa África.
The course will cover topics such as the selection of projects, the viability of PPPs, risk analysis and achieving a good price-quality ratio.
