El CIRES ( Centre Ivorien de Recherches Economiques et Sociales) es una institución de investigación económica y social que se encuentra en la Universidad Félix-Houphouët-Boigny. Fue fundada el 16 de marzo de 1971 en Abidjan, Costa de Márfil.

Su misión es empreder investigaciones sobre los problemas económicos y sociales que existen en la Costa de Márfil y en los países de la Subregión, además de crear relaciones con órganos económicos públicos o privados y publicar los trabajos de investigación que conciernen estas dos disciplinas.

Los principales objetivos del CIRES son los siguientes: identificar los problemas económicos y sociales de la Costa de Marfil, así como los de la Subregión; realizar estudios económicos y sociales con el fin de encontrar soluciones a los problemas existentes; liderar la reflexión e investigación; fomentar el debate científico y económico en la sociedad  marfilense; brindar capacitación regional en economía y sociología rural a través de DESS y un Doctorado, así como en la formación de gestión en la política y en la economía y organizar seminarios con un nivel académico alto.

El CIRES cuenta con cincuenta investigadores permanentes y veinte investigadores asociados de alto nivel como economistas, ingenieros, sociólogos e ingenieros agrícolas.
