Yasmina Khadra presenta su obra 'La ecuación de la vida'
The prestigious Algerian author Mohammed Moulessehoul, better known by his pseudonym Yasmina Khadra, will be at the Tres Culturas del Mediterráneo Foundation on 23rd October from 7.30pm onwards, to speak about his work La ecuación de la vida, published by Ediciones Destino, with whom this event was organised.
The writer will be able to exchange ideas with the Tres con libros reading club members from the Foundation and reading clubs from the province of Huelva, who will attend this presentation from 7.30pm onwards.
The event will also be open to anyone else who is interested, with free admission but with limited capacity and will be accompanied by African music from Radio Kuwamba, thanks to Casa África's collaboration.
La ecuación de la vida tells the fortunes of two men who lived in Germany and whose boat is held by Somali pirates whilst they are on their way to the Comoros Islands, therefore becoming the protagonists of a kidnap where, among uncertainty and horror, they discover there is also a place for love and hope.
Currently, Yasmina Khadra's pen is admired all over the world and his works have been printed in more than 40 countries. He lives with his wife and children in France, where he does not stop getting awards; in fact his novel El atentado (2007) received the French booksellers prize, whilst Lo que el día debe a la noche was declared the best book of the year by the prestigious magazine Lire.
