VII Festival Internacional de Cine Social de Castilla La Mancha

The 7th International Social Film Festival of Castilla-La Mancha will take place in Toledo from the 4th to the 12th of October of 2010, the date the awards gala will be held.

The programming offered is of great cinematographic quality and diversity, and introduces certain innovations such as:

A greater presence of short films, which now have an exclusive hall (the Garcilaso Hall)
There is also a stronger commitment towards the Festival´s social facet with the participation of various solidarity associations.
The educational section is also reinforced by expanding the participation of training centres.

As a result of these commitments, the Festival has gained a clear international dimension by forming part of the European Cultural Development Project (INTERREG-IV).

Casa África collaborates with the festival through the Cinenómada programme, which is managed by Al Tarab and sponsored by Casa África in order to bring African cinema to all of Spain. Through this programme, Casa África provides the Festival of Castilla-La Mancha with the feature film titled Imani (Uganda), winner of the 2010 Tarifa African Film Festival.

The showing will take place in the Hall-Auditorium of the Centro Cultural Toletvm (Avda de Madrid, S/N, Toledo) on Wednesday, October 6, at 9:30 pm.
