Presentación del libro "El protectorado español en Marruecos: la historia trascendida"
To mark the centenary of when the Spanish protectorate was established in Morocco, this work is published, funded by Iberdrola, and now presented at Casa África.
This is a literary project that is published in three volumes in which more than fifty authors have come together, including writers, scholars, historians and jurists.
The work is directed by Manuel Aragón Reyes, editing and coordination has been carried out by Manuel Gahete Jurado, in collaboration with Fatiha Benlabbah. The editorial coordination is by Montse Barbé Capdevila.
This publication's aim is to demonstrate the relevance that, after years have passed, the existence of the protectorate has had in relations between Spain and Morocco and discover the traces which still survive of these shared years.
Volume I is devoted to the socio-economic, demographic, scientific, educational and legal side, with texts by authors such as Victor Morales Lezcano, who is the author responsible for this presentation at Casa Africa.
Volume II is devoted to the cultural, literary and historiographical aspect.
Volume III is devoted to the historical-political and military side.
The Transcended Story Project aims to be a reference publication as a compendium of what was the Spanish protectorate in Morocco, offering a collection of papers, articles, texts and contributions aimed at both the general reader as well as the researcher interested in this period of Spanish-Moroccan history.
