Participación de Casa África en la Feria del Libro de Sevilla
Casa África will be present at the Seville Book Fair, which will take place from the 19th to the 30th of May, thanks to the collaboration established with the Tres Culturas Foundation. Thanks to this, audiences who visit the fair will be able to discover new titles from the Casa África Essay and History and Politics Collections thanks to the following book presentations:
Historia del África Negra, by professor Joseph Ki-Zerbo. This is the second title that Casa África has edited with Editorial Bellatora within the editorial´s Library of African Studies and Casa África´s History and Politics Collection.
Historia del Congo, desde sus orígenes hasta nuestros días, by Isidore Ndaywel. This title is the most recent publication from the Casa África Essay Collection.
This activity is part of the 2011 edition of Áfica Vive, a Casa África initiative that has been created to celebrate Africa Day on May 25th, and to use this celebration as an excuse to understand each other better, to bring African and Spanish people together in a fun and participative context.
With África Vive, Casa África aims to improve knowledge about the neighbouring continent in our country through a complete programme of activities that will take place between April and July and that include cultural, political, economic, social and sports events. These activities will also include literature, which is why Casa África´s collections will be present at the book fairs of Barcelona, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Madrid, Maputo, and the one in Seville.
