- Jenni Williams, arrested in September 2013 along with Magodonda Mahlangu for their opposition to Mugabe's regime. This Zimbabwean began her fight in 1994, defending farmers whose farms were to be expropriated by Mugabe. In 2003 she decided to found Women of Zimbabwe Arise (WOZA), a women's movement based on non-violence that soon also had men join it, whose aim is to fight against oppression and defend Human Rights in a country where raising certain issues not only generates fear, but imprisonment in appalling conditions.
- Magodonga Mahlangu is a tireless advocate for women's rights in Zimbabwe. She fights for democracy, peace and women’s rights as leader of WOZA. She has coordinated more than 100 non-violent public demonstrations and has taken a poll of nearly 10,000 people on their hopes for the creation of a new Zimbabwe. Despite having been arrested and jailed more than 30 times and suffered police brutality along with Williams, Magodonga Mahlangu remains steadfast in her commitment to a future for Zimbabweans.
From 14th March to 13th April Sala Expresa2. Photographic Exhibition
- Soutoura is an exhibition consisting of 28 photographs of African women in their daily lives, which tries to change that image which is traditionally associated with tragedy and misery, to show their more positive and real face.
