II Jornadas Hispano-Senegalesas: Nuevas tendencias en la gestión de los flujos migratorios entre África Occidental y Europa
These 2nd Spanish-Senegalese Conferences on Migrations and Human Rights are jointly organised between the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (University Centre for International Development Cooperation - Centro Universitario de Cooperación Internacional al Desarrollo, CUCID) and the Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar (Legal and Political Sciences Faculty) as part of the "Migrations and Human Rights" International Development Cooperation Project funded by the Canary Islands Government´s African Relations Department and in collaboration with Casa África.
Its main objective is to promote inter-cultural dialogue on the migratory phenomenon between source and host societies of migrants, and precisely for this reason, these conferences aim to serve as a forum for exchanging ideas on the binomial proposed as a point of reflection and debate, in other words, migrations and human rights. This context is an excellent opportunity for contemplating a multidisciplinary vision that helps to comprehend and understand the global panorama, but especially that of Spain-Senegal relations, in their entirety.
Registration is free but attendees must register beforehand at http://www.cucid.ulpgc.es/.
