Feria de Turismo de Ghana. GDTFE 2013

The Ghana Domestic Tourism Fair & Exhibition (GDTFE) 2013 is a three day event that will be held from 20 - 22 September 2013 at the National Theatre Accra and Efua Sunderland Children’s Park. 

Theme will be Growth & Employment, and the aim of GDTFE is to promote Ghana’s Domestic Tourism industry.

The Ghana Domestic Tourism Fair & Exhibition (GDTFE 2013) is an event where major organisations, individuals, speakers, and networks will all gather to showcase the best that the nation has to offer.

Organisations from every aspect of Ghanaian tourism will be taking part as products, heritage, culture, ecotourism, leisure, lifestyle, events, and tourist attractions will all be promoted, exhibited and discussed.

The event seeks to:

  • Provide a platform for expansion and opportunities for Ghana’s Domestic Tourism.
  • Project domestic tourism as potential lead sector in the tourism industry for employment.
  • Create awareness of what Ghana has to offer in domestic tourism.
  • Network and create partnership with stake holders.
  • Present Ghana's Tourism potential as a major investment portfolio
  • Present Ghana’s competitive advantage in Africa in terms of trade Partnerships
  • Expose existing trade and investment opportunities.
  • Introduce the rich traditions and cultural heritage of the country.

Ghana Domestic Tourism Fair & Exhibition 2013 provides a unique opportunity, with  more than 200 booths of exhibitors to those who are involved in the industry itself, seeking out more information, or are just looking to be a part of something special. 20,000  visitors are expected over  the three days period.

On top of all the promotions and events, there are a number of special events such as The Star Fashion Show, The Star Painting Exhibition, The Domestic Kiddies Competition 2013, National Fruit & Herb Day, and the Domestic Musical Splash, there will be no shortage of sights, sounds, entertainment, and information being shared and passed around at all times.

GDTFE 2013 will also feature an array of keynote speakers and opportunities for members of the public to interact, discuss, and participate in the GDTFE Business Forum.
