'Emerging Africa and the Global Business Revolution'
In collaboration with Casa África, the IESE Centre for Emerging Markets and the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce have organised this international forum with leading experts of the Sub-Saharan African markets, which will take place at the IESE headquarters in Barcelona (C/ Arnús i Garí, 3-7).
One of the forum´s main objectives is to provide a clear vision of these markets so that companies and business leaders from Spain may better understand the opportunities and the risks of investing in Africa, since all of the markets are relatively unknown to the Spanish market. The forum also aims to serve as a platform for businesspeople, business advisers, and company executives from Sub-Saharan countries to meet with their Spanish counterparts.
The conference will include discussion panels about matters such as business initiatives, international commerce, industrial organisation, technology and innovation in order to provide a general perspective of the current situation and the future trends in the area, along with the sector and strategic perspectives.
Additionally, representatives from Spanish companies will have the opportunity to request private meetings with African consultants from countries such as Angola, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Equatorial Guinea, Mali, Mozambique, Nigeria, Senegal or South Africa.
Registrations may be done through the IESE website. The seminar will be carried out in English.
