Casa África participa en Gran Canaria Moda Cálida
Gran Cananaria Moda Cálida is a textile sector programme created in 1996 upon the initiative of the Gran Canaria Island Council’s Department of Industry, Trade and Crafts.
In this edition, Casa África will collaborate with the programme by inviting Dax Martin, a South African designer and reference in the field, who will participate in the catwalk by providing 10 models and in the round table with the title "A Company´s Internationalisation Process," where the internationalisation of swimwear will be analysed.
With this initiative, Casa África aims to help Africa in being considered a business opportunity in this field, while having Spain consider investing in this country in order to promote the development of the textile industry in the continent, and specifically in South Africa.
There will be activities throughout the entire week, most aimed exclusively at professionals of the swimwear sector, especially the catwalk, which will take place on June 26 at 9:30 pm in the Maloneras Convention Centre (Maspalomas, Gran Canaria), although there will also be stands in the surrounding areas where the different labels will offer stocks from their collections for sale.
