XV Concurso Fotográfico 'Objetivo África'-Diseño y Estilo: Celebrando el African Style

15th ‘Objective Africa’ Photography Competition - Design and Style: Celebrating African Style

Casa África announces its 15th Photography Contest «Objetivo África», which will reward the photographs that best showcase the positive aspects of the African continent in the field of Design and Style in Africa, which is this year's theme.

Objective Africa, which always aims to showcase the positive aspects of the African continent, focuses this year on design and style to celebrate ‘African Style’.

The 2025 edition of Objective Africa photo competition seeks to capture the richness and diversity of African aesthetics. From vibrant fashion and textiles steeped in history, to furniture design that evokes ancestral traditions, but also innovates with textures, styles and materials; the Afro hairstyle as a symbol of identity and fashion; the connection between style and culture of ‘Made in Africa’, this competition celebrates the power of African creativity.
We want to see African Style transcend borders and become a unique artistic expression. Participate and show us how you interpret the diversity and creativity of African Style through your lens.

The deadline for submitting applications and photographs is 2 May 2025 at 14.00 hours (GMT +0).

Each applicant may participate with a maximum of five (5) photographs to be submitted online through the platform MundoArti. The photographs must be sent in JPEG format, with a minimum resolution of 200 dpi and weighing between 1 and 5 MB.

The jury, composed of leading professionals in the arts field, will assess the creativity, the innovation of the technique used and the way the message is conveyed. The description and the title of the photograph will also be assessed under these criteria.

The awards for this 15th edition of Objetivo África are:

  1. First award: 1000€
  2. Second award: 500€
  3. Third award: 300€

Participation process:

  • Have your photographs and the description of each one of them ready, as well as the place and date where they were taken
  • Have a copy of your ID card or passport ready
  • With all these documents ready, enter Mundo Arti (you will have to register if you have not done so before). If you have any problems when participating, please send an email to contacto@mundoarti.com
