A través de nuestros programas de enseñanza en el extranjero, podrás hacer que este cambio suceda por tu propia mano. También es una excelente manera de desarrollar las habilidades que necesitarás para una carrera docente, o de descubrir si convertirte en maestro es el camino correcto para ti.

Si bien la mayoría de nuestros programas de enseñanza en el extranjero se enfocan en ayudar a los estudiantes a aprender inglés, puedes enseñar otras materias. ¿Te apasiona la educación física, el arte o la historia? Haznos saber lo que quiere enseñar y lo emparejaremos con el proyecto correcto.

Fundación Wangari Maathai

La Fundación Wangari Maathai es una organización sin ánimo de lucro que se dedica a mantener y difundir el legado de Wangari Muta Maathai, así como a perpetuar un liderazgo valeroso y responsable entre niños y jóvenes.

La Fundación invierte en los futuros líderes kenianos construyendo carácter y liderazgo personal para conseguir una sociedad más justa. A través del diálogo y la cooperación con una amplia variedad de actores, trabajamos para construir competencias sociales y emocionales, empoderar al desarrollo personal y a suscitar a la acción colectiva de la próxima generación. Conducir a la gente para que tome acción y solucione los problemas en sus propias comunidades, basándonos en el espíritu de Wangari.

Para desarrollar su labor de construir una sociedad más equitativa, la Fundación sigue tres planteamientos principales. Por un lado, fomentan la autoconciencia y enseñan habilidades socioemocionales a niños de entre 6 y 17 años con la colaboración de escuelas y clases integradas con la temática de la vida de Wangari Maathai. Por otro lado, se involucran con jóvenes adultos de entre 17 y 35 años a través del apoyo para empoderar el desarrollo personal, la acción colectiva, y desarrollar liderazgo. Puede conocerse más de estas campañas a través de En-Courage platform. Finalmente, comparten historias sobre cómo el legado de Wangari Maathai permanece alrededor del mundo inspirando a personas para cambiar el mundo.
