El Fondo de Desarrollo de las Exportaciones (FED) es una institución financiera de desarrollo (IFD) cuyo principal objetivo es aumentar el potencial productivo del país mediante la provisión de financiación, participación en el capital o garantías de crédito, y servicios de asesoramiento para la creación, expansión y modernización de empresas viables en el sector de las medianas y grandes empresas.
La Agencia de Promoción de Inversiones de Malawi (APIM) es una organización paraestatal creada en 1991 mediante una ley del Parlamento. Tiene el mandato del gobierno de promover, atraer, fomentar, facilitar y apoyar la inversión local y extranjera en Malawi.
