Established in 1970, Université Omar Bongo (Omar Bongo University) is a higher-education institution located in the large city of Libreville (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Estuaire. Officially recognized by the Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique, Gabon (Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Gabon), Université Omar Bongo (UOB) is a coeducational Gabonese higher education institution.
