Assosiation des juristes sénégalaises (asociación de juristas senegalesas)

En 1974,hace casi más de diez años de la indepen independencia de Senegal,  juristas preocupadas por la situación que sufre la población senegalesa y, en particular, por la de las mujeres y los niños, sintieron la necesidad y el deber de crear un marco de reflexión e intercambio sobre la cuestión. Así nació la Asociación de Juristas Senegaleses (AJS) en julio de 1974. Entre sus miembros se encuentran mujeres profesoras de derecho, magistradas, abogadas, alguaciles, notarias, inspectoras de trabajo, asesoras jurídicas, doctoras en derecho, etc. La agrupación de mujeres abogadas les ha permitido contribuir eficazmente al desarrollo del derecho en general y al adelanto de las mujeres y los niños en particular.

Hacer de la Asociación de Juristas Senegaleses una organización de mujeres juristas de referencia en el mundo, en escrupulosa conformidad con los ideales, objetivos y estatutos de la AJS.
