El Centro de Estudios Estratégicos Magrebíes (CEEM) fue creado en 2011 y tiene como objetivo principal promover el desarrollo socioeconómico y cultural en la Comunidad Autónoma de Andalucía y los países del Magreb, generando espacios de fortalecimiento institucional, transferencia de conocimientos y desarrollo de competencias entre las diferentes organizaciones de sus respectivas sociedades civiles.

Con esta intención, nuestra institución se propone sensibilizar a la comunidad andaluza en torno a la problemática social, económica, política y cultural de los países magrebíes, realizando diversas actividades académicas tales como análisis conjuntos de coyuntura, asistencias técnicas especializadas, investigaciones aplicadas y cursos de formación. Al mismo tiempo, el CEEM implementa proyectos de cooperación internacional educativos y de promoción intercultural en los diferentes países del Magreb, fortaleciendo su capacidad instalada y consolidando espacios de aprendizaje mutuo.

El cumplimiento de estos objetivos incluye un importante trabajo de difusión e intercambio tanto entre las sociedades andaluza y magrebí como en otros ámbitos geográficos con los que se mantienen importantes niveles de afinidad e interrelación histórica, como es el caso de los países iberoamericanos. Por esta razón, también desarrollamos actividades educativas y de promoción intercultural en dicho espacio geográfico.
