From Maghreb to Mashreq: orient
This compilation showcases some of the best current Arabian music, including selections from Khaled, Samira Saeed, Latifa, and Egyptian superstar Amr Diab. From Maghreb to Mashreq is a sampling of modern Arabic sounds from North Africa at the dawn of the 21st century. Some cuts are more traditional and others use more modern keyboard/synthesizer sounds and more modern production techniques, but there are no real attempts at a cultural crossover here. This is another solid collection of Arabic music from EMI Arabia.
