La Junta de Desarrollo Económico (EDB por sus siglas en inglés) marca un nuevo comienzo en el panorama económico de Mauricio. Anuncia un nuevo capítulo en la planificación económica, la inversión, la promoción del comercio y la facilitación. El EDB comenzó sus operaciones como organismo estatutario el 15 de enero de 2018 tras la fusión entre la Junta de Inversiones, Enterprise Mauritius y la Agencia de Promoción de Servicios Financieros.
