Dounia (= the world) in Contact was founded by Mohamed Soumah and Nora Meesen with the vision to create a network for art and culture. Its focus lies in intercultural collaborations, creating visibility for authentic West-African art, promoting culture as a factor of sustainable development and consulting.

Established in 1996, Université Kofi Annan de Guinée (Kofi Annan University) is a for-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the medium town of Conakry (population range of 2,500-9,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique, Guinea (Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Guinea), Université Kofi Annan de Guinée (UNIKAG) is a small (uniRank enrollment range: 4,000-4,999 students) coeducational Guinean higher education institution. Université Kofi Annan de Guinée (UNIKAG) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. The admission rate range is 80-90% making this Guinean higher education organization a least selective institution. International applicants are eligible to apply for enrollment.
