Africa & Asia Venture es uno de los operadores de años sabáticos más antiguos, creado en 1993, con casi 6000 jóvenes de más de 30 países que han viajado con nosotros.

Es aprender que tu perspectiva es solo una de muchas.

Nuestra compañía ofrece la organización de grupos reducidos de personas de entre 17 y 25 años, para garantizar la comunicación como individuos y no meramente como clientes. Para ello, disponemos de equipos de atención sobre el terreno las 24 horas del día, 7 días a la semana para atender a los estudiantes. Algo fundamental será que los grupos de personas irán a una única comunidad a vivir con ella, en vez de ser itinerantes, para tratar de fomentar una relación realmente cooperativa y más profunda con los habitantes locales.

Kenya Girl Guides Association (KGGA) es miembro de World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS), una de las mayores organizaciones voluntarias que se dedica a las niñas y a las mujeres jóvenes alrededor del mundo. Apoya alrededor de 10 millones de niñas y jóvenes mujeres en 146 países para hacerles ver su potencial como ciudadanas responsables en el mundo.

KGGA imparte programas educacionales informales de gran calidad que aportan a las niñas y jóvenes entrenamiento dinámico, flexible y basado en valores sobre habilidades para la vida. Con ello juegan un papel único en un mundo donde las niñas y las jóvenes son valoradas y empoderadas para que tomen acción en cambiar el mundo.  Nuestro enfoque basado en valores bien establecidos combina el desarrollo personal, retos y aventuras.

KGGA apoya a mujeres jóvenes y a niñas para desarrollar habilidades esenciales que contribuyan a dirigirse a los conflictos globales. También defiende y realiza campañas a nivel nacional, regional e internacional para influenciar las políticas que afectan a las niñas y a las mujeres jóvenes, como por ejemplo Objetivos de Desarrollo del Milenio, participación juvenil, cambio climático y violencia contra las mujeres.
