Africa Health Research Institute (AHRI)
Briefing about the institution

La misión del Africa Health Research Institute es lograr la salud y el bienestar de la población con escasos recursos.

Se trata de un instituto de investigación científica independiente y transdisciplinar con sede en dos campus de la provincia de KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) en Sudáfrica.

La investigación del AHRI abarca las ciencias de la población, las ciencias básicas, las ciencias sociales y la medicina para comprender e intervenir en la salud y el bienestar de las comunidades sudafricanas.

El AHRI trabaja en colaboración con las comunidades locales y con las partes interesadas del mundo académico, gubernamental y político sudafricano. Hace hincapié en la formación de la próxima generación de científicos africanos. El AHRI colabora con más de 60 instituciones en todo el mundo.
