Briefing about the institution

Alblamoving es una asociación sin ánimo de lucro cuyo objetivo es trabajar en la cooperación para el desarrollo de la población de Burkina Faso, más concretamente, en Bobo-Dioulasso. Se creó en el año 2013, con el deseo, compromiso y emociones que generó a sus fundadores Blanca Berga y Alberto Llorens al haber convivido a lo largo de un año con los bobolienses. De esta manera pudieron conocer de primera mano esta comunidad, sus grandes virtudes, y sus incontables necesidades.

Su labor se centra en tres proyectos fundamentales:

  • Alfabetización: salvaguardan y promueven el derecho a la educación para romper con las barreras que impone el analfabetismo. Este proyecto va dirigido tanto a los niños como a las mujeres.
  • Creación de una escuela: este proyecto tiene como objetivo conseguir un edificio adecuado para la enseñanza, ya que el coste de las escuelas privadas es demasiado elevado con respecto al nivel económico de las familias.  
  • Creación de empleo: dan apoyo a los jóvenes que tienen ganas de evolucionar mediante la creación de puestos de trabajo, así como sensibilizando a la juventud sobre la importancia de tener un empleo.

​Alblamoving ya ha conseguido su objetivo de crear un espacio para acoger a todos los niños y niñas que deambulan por las calles de Bobo. Un lugar en el que se les atiende, reciben la formación que merecen, y tienen un plato de comida caliente al día. En resumen, un espacio donde puedan sentirse niños.

Actualmente, su reto se centra en atender a más niños y niñas en su casa, para llegar de este modo a más familias, y ofrecer este espacio de desarrollo, aprendizaje y convivencia a toda la comunidad.

En resumen, la Asociación Alblamoving proporciona la ayuda que necesitan los habitantes de Burkina Faso mediante la lucha contra el trabajo infantil, el analfabetismo, la falta de escolarización, y la falta de empleo en Bobo-Dioulasso.

FESPACO: Festival Panafricano de Cine y Televisión de Uagadugú
Briefing about the institution

El Festival Panafricano de Cine y Televisión de Uagadugú (FESPACO) es uno de los mayores festivales de cine africanos.

Creado en 1969 por un grupo de cinéfilos, FESPACO tiene lugar cada dos años en Uagadugú, la capital de Burkina Faso. Aparte de la organización del festival en sí, la institución pública responsable de FESPACO también tiene la función de organizar proyecciones sin ánimo de lucro en zonas rurales en colaboración con ONG, asociaciones, escuelas y otras instituciones públicas y privadas; promover el cine africano en festivales internacionales y organizar diversos eventos en torno al cine.

Los objetivos del festival pueden resumirse en:

  • promover la difusión de todas las obras del cine africano
  • promover el contacto e intercambios entre profesionales del cine y del audiovisual
  • contribuir al crecimiento, desarrollo y preservación del cine africano como medio de expresión, educación y conciencia.
