V Gran Canaria Summit
The Gran Canaria Summit serves as a bridge between female entrepreneurs from Africa, America and Europe and presents a unique opportunity to support the ecosystem of regional entrepreneurship.
It aims to give international visibility to projects and startups launched by women, university students and entrepreneurs from the Canary Islands, with the support of the Heroikka Association, Casa África, the US Embassy and the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Attendance at the 3-day event is free, but you must register to reserve a place since capacity is limited.
The events of the Gran Canaria Summit will take place in various venues: they will begin at Casa África on Wednesday 22 May, continue on Thursday 23 May in the auditorium of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) and end on Friday 24 May in the Elder Building.
The programme planned for Wednesday 22 May at Casa África is as shown below, with the participation of Ms Khan and Ms Velasco, who were invited to this meeting by Casa África:

- 6:30pm Panel discussion: Ecosystems of Innovation for and by Women: Looking into Africa*
