Seminario. Conservación y Difusión del Patrimonio Cultural. SOS Joyas en peligro

As part of the International African Book Fair, on the 19th December  a seminar called  "Conservation and Dissemination of Cultural Heritage," will be held at the Nelson Mandela Auditorium of Casa África (C/ Alfonso XIII, 5. Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) with the main purpose of bringing together researchers, teachers and other professionals related to the integral management of heritage, to exchange experiences, criteria and ideas on development cooperation  in areas related to cultural heritage.

At this meeting, policies, strategies and projects from public organisations and academic institutions, which have set up development projects for the valuation, conservation and dissemination of heritage will be made known.

The Seminar is aimed at professionals in the cultural heritage management area, people who are interested in finding out more about development cooperation in areas relating to cultural heritage and all those agents who belong to the culture sector.

  • 12:00 – 12.30 THE DRAFT NATIONAL ARCHITECTURAL HERITAGE PROJECT OF IIPC OF CAPE VERDE run by Hamilton Jair Moreira Lopes Fernandes, Director of Conservation and Heritage at the Research and Cultural Heritage Institute of the Ministry for Culture of Cape Verde
