Rueda de prensa. Colaboración entre porteros de España y Mali

Casa África will host the press conference at which Ernesto García, coordinator of the goalkeepers of U.D. Las Palmas and founder of www.serportero.com, will explain his project to go to Mali to train goalkeepers

This is a story born from a passion for goalkeeping. Ernesto García is one of the best known trainers worldwide, through the dissemination of his work methodology. The website serportero.com is an international point of reference as a training centre for football goalkeepers, with thousands of followers all over the world.

Because of this effect, many people interested in his work methodology make contact with him daily, particularly to pass it on. One of these people is Diaby, a young coach with his own school of goalkeepers in Mali. He contacted serportero.com telling them how much he had learned and how grateful he was to have access to the videos that Ernesto García shares in his official social networks.

That’s how Ernesto and Diaby made contact. One giving thanks for the teaching, the other feeling excited to see how they were following his way of working in a village without resources and in very adverse conditions. Hence Ernesto's decision to help, first advising him in the area of sport, then sending him material and now he intends to travel to Mali to train coaches and local goalkeepers in situ, because despite their interest and desire, they are lacking knowledge and guidelines.

The project arose from great excitement to get to know each other, work together and learn, so that in the future the goalkeepers of Mali can continue their work with rigor and knowledge.

Ernesto is coming to talk to us about all this in this event that will have the format of a press conference and which will be held in Casa África on Friday, 24 February 2017 at 9am Free admission.
