Presentación del libro "La enseñanza del español en África Subsahariana"
When we speak of Spanish we think of the language of Spain and Latin America. And if we think of the people who are increasingly interested in learning this language, we possibly think of the U.S. or China, but almost never associate it with sub-Saharan Africa, where nearly a million and a half people are studying our language.
This book which is presented now, and that belongs to Casa África's Essay Collection, aims to compensate for the lack of literature regarding the Spanish presence in this vast and diverse territory that is the sub-continent to the south of the Sahara.
35 Hispanists have written 30 chapters that make up this work, documenting the current state of teaching Spanish in the 27 sub-Saharan countries where the presence of Spanish is remarkable.
The work will be presented:
- On 28/10/2014 at 11: 30a.m. at the Cervantes Institute. Calle Alcalá, 49. 28014 Madrid. See programme
- On 29/10/2014 at 7 p.m. at Casa Africa. Calle Alfonso XIII, 5. 35003 Las Palmas de Gran Canaria See programme
