Presentación del informe 'Perspectivas Económicas de África 2015'
Africa continues transforming its economy and improving its integration into the global production of goods and services, which has enabled it to achieve growth levels close to 5%, which are of course much higher than those with in other parts of the world more affected by the international crisis since 2008.
All this data is collected in the African Economic Outlook 2015 report. Published each year by the African Development Bank (AfDB), the Development Centre of the OECD and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the 2015 report highlights the fact that Africa has been able to maintain its levels of growth despite the drop in oil prices and raw materials or the Ebola crisis.
To discuss these and many other conclusions reached in this report on the African Economic Outlook there is a presentation of it which is held annually and in 2015 will take place on 18th and 22nd June, first at the headquarters of the CEOE in Madrid, then at Casa Asia and finally in Casa África.
The African Economic Outlook, AEO, which is its acronym in English, is an essential tool for continuing economic, political and social developments of the continent. Just as every year Casa África collaborates in the presentation of this report to make known the economic reality in Sub-Saharan Africa and disseminate international publications which deal with African economies and markets throughout Spain.
This type of activity also involves closer collaboration with major institutions for the analysis and economic projection for Africa such as the African Development Bank (AfDB), or OECD, among others.
The report will be presented to the public who are interested:
- on 18th June at 12.00pm at the CEOE's headquarters in Madrid (C/ Diego de León, 50)
- on 18th June at 12.00pm at the Casa Asia's headquarters (Sant Antoni Maria Claret, 167. Sant Manuel Pavilion. Sant Pau Modernist site. Barcelona)
- on 22nd June at 9.30 am at Casa África's headquarters in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (C/ Alfonso XIII, 5).
