Oil&Gas Meeting Day

The Stier Group, in collaboration with PROEXCA and SPEGC, are organising in the Canary Islands the First Oil & Gas Meeting Day and the 15th General Assembly of OPITO Training Centres. The meeting will take place on 16 and 17 March 2017 and will bring together local authorities and representatives of international companies in the sector to discuss key issues in the future of this industry.

This first forum was conceived as a complementary activity to the specialised training courses which will be held from 13 March as part of the hosting in Gran Canaria of the 15th General Assembly of Opito Training Centres which takes place twice a year.

This Oil & Gas Meeting Day forum aims to encourage discussions and to be a good opportunity to share ideas and experiences. In this vein, Casa África will be presented as an instrument of public diplomacy that facilitates links with the neighbouring continent.

This meeting will support companies in optimising business projects, report on the strategic development directions of local government and work for the best adaptation of the needs of this industry in the current market.

The Oil & Gas Meeting Day, in collaboration with the Proexca brand “Canary Island European Business Hub in Africa”, will offer a real insight into current assessment methods and procedures, with input from the leading host companies, lawyers, insurers and training centres.

The event, which brings together delegates from more than 45 countries related to this industry, is structured around five key activities:

day of presentations with international speakers
visit to port facilities
General Assembly of Opito Training Centres. Open-door day in the Stier Group Training Centre
training courses offered by Survitec, Atlas and the Stier Group. Enrol on courses at info@stier.es

The registration fee for the conference day is 150 euros The registration period closes on 20 February 2017, giving priority in strict order of date of receipt of proof of payment.
