African and Spanish leaders will meet in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria to discuss progress and challenges in the area of women´s empowerment. The event will take place at Casa África´s headquarters on December 16th and 17th.
During two days, eight women representing various sectors--economic-business, social and political--from Spain and countries such as Mali, Senegal, Kenya, Gambia and Burundi will analyse the progress of the "Network of African and Spanish Women for a Better World" and examine the network´s Plan of Work for 2011.
