Jornadas: Día del Emprendedor

Casa África's general secretary, Mr. Luis Padilla, will take part at the Internationalisation Table on Entrepreneur's Day as the expert speaker on the African market and the promotion of foreign trade and international business.

These Entrepreneur Day sessions are organised by the Directorate General for Economic Development of the Canary Islands Government and will take place on the island of Tenerife on the 20th November and on the island of Gran Canaria on the 21st November 2012. The sessions will take place in the assembly hall of CajaCanarias in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and in the Paraninfo of the University of Las Palmas of Gran Canaria, with both sessions being held in the morning and afternoon.

The Entrepreneur's Day initiative was created as a territorial scope meeting for entrepreneurs to share their knowledge, experiences, whether of success or failure, listen to testimonies from entrepreneurs and take part in activities that are aimed at boosting the creation of companies, their consolidation and internationalisation, improving the level of competitiveness and the use of new technologies, to stimulate the development of joint working networks between academic and company areas and foster business collaboration.

These sessions dedicated to the entrepreneur, are aimed at students, entrepreneurs, businessmen, professionals, technicians and other people related to entrepreneurship and specifically during this year of internationalisation.

Enterprise Europe Network, Europe Direct, the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the Development Society of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, CajaCanarias, the Entrepreneur's Club as well as other regional and local administrations have collaborated with this programme of activities.
