II Encuentro Cultural Canario Marroquí
Various institutions have collaborated to carry out this programme, among which is Casa África, which will give a conference and have a stand during the meeting which will display works from its collections of literature, essays and history and politics as well some of the books that are related to Morocco from our media library available on loan to any person who is interested.
The programme prepared by the ACCM includes training activities (Arabic classes, a computer course, conferences), gastronomic activities (workshops on Moroccan baking and cuisine), sports (football coaching and tournaments), egalitarian and cultural activities, film forum, craft, and participatory, intergenerational and associative activities.
The main event will be a meeting to be held on Saturday 3rd May 2014 and includes children's games, workshops, sports, crafts, music and gastronomy.
In addition, the planned programme of activities includes Arabic classes for children and young people, Moroccan cuisine and the conference: Casa África's role and its commitment to Morocco, which will take place on Friday 2nd May at 7 p.m. in Maspalomas Cultural Centre and will be run by Arianne Hernández, Casa África's Secretary General and Juan Jaime, Department Head of Culture and Education
