I Congreso Internacional de Educación e Intervención: Psicoeducativa, Familiar y Social
To celebrate its 10th Anniversary, the Hestia Association, together with the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, is organising the 1st International Congress on Education and Intervention: Psychoeducational, Family and Social.
This congress is aimed at everyone who is part of the professional academic world: researchers and trainers; educators and students; managers, administrators and directors in all areas of education and psychological, educational, health, legal and social intervention.
National and international expert speakers will take part in the Congress, giving practical examples of the progress made in the three main areas of the Congress: Family, School and Society.
At the symposium “Africa’s Children” on 21 March, there will be a presentation on Teaching Africa in a Positive light: the development of an educational project in the curriculum of the Canary Islands”, which will discuss the implementation of this project in the educational centres of the Canary Islands thanks to the collaboration of Casa África, the Department of Education of the Government of the Canary Islands, African Universities and the ULPGC.
Casa África will also collaborate with this symposium dedicated to African childhood by facilitating the participation of Amadou Mbaye, Master in Development Cooperation and graduate in Spanish Language from the University of Granada, who coordinates one of the community development projects of the Hahatay NGO for development in Senegal.
In addition, the director general of Casa África will be one of the members of the Honorary Committee of the Congress.
