FIDADOC 2010
Once again, Casa África will provide its support to the Agadir Documentary Film Festival (FIDADOC), the first display of Moroccan cinema that is exclusively dedicated to documentaries. In its third edition, FIDADOC is a window to the world but also a place for exchange and training for students, film buffs, producers and directors from the Souss Massa Drâa region.
From the 9th to the 13th of November in Agadir will be five days to discover documentary films from the five continents, and this year with a special focus on those produced in and by Africa. Casa África not only supports the dissemination of African productions in Spain; it also aims to bring African cinema closer to Africans themselves using film platforms of reference in Africa, such as FESPACO (Burkina Faso), FCAT-Equatorial Guinea, or FIDADOC.
The various locations for viewing the FIDADOC documentaries are:
- The amphitheatre of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services in Agadir (Av. Hassan II, 240)
- Outdoor showings at the Essalam Community Centre, Mohammed Kheir-Eddine, or at the Tikiouine Youth Centre (south of Plaza Al Amal)
- The round tables will be held in the Amazigh Municipal Heritage Museum
