Espectáculo: Mother Africa
Mother Africa celebrates the 5th anniversary of its show The Circus of the Senses with a tour that will take it to several Spanish cities during the month of May 2015.
Casa África provides support for this grand tour through Spain that will entail a programme that collects the best events of this multidisciplinary company that carries sensations of Africa on a best of show with highlights of African circus art. Colourful costumes, thrilling rhythms, fascinating art and a huge and contagious joy of life that no one should be deprived of. This is what the programmers of this tour say awaits those attending the anniversary show of Mother Africa.
Circus of the Senses stands out for its variety. Which gives it a special character is the mixture of elements of circus and entertainment, both traditional and modern, art, live music and choreography rooted in African culture. All this combined with the energy and joy of life of this continent which is the cradle of humanity.
All the artists of this show come from the Mastermind school of Mother Africa, founded by Winston Ruddle, a street and circus artist who created this school in Dar Es Salaam to educate African promising talents and assure them a future in the world of show business and present to the world a part of African culture and make people happy not only during the two hours the show lasts but to help more in the long-term. Therefore, a portion of the proceeds from the tour will be destined for humanitarian projects in Africa.
