The purpose of this inverse mission is to foster the collaboration between businesses connected with the American and the Canary Islands renewable energy sector to carry out projects in West Africa.
This business mission, certified by the United States Department of Commerce, is an initiative supported from the Obama administration, as actions included in the package of initiatives to develop with Africa.
In addition, PROEXCA strongly supports the African participation in the next edition of AFRICAGUA, which will take place from 19th to 20th November 2015, with a presence of countries such as Senegal, Morocco, Equatorial Guinea, Ghana, Gabon or Cape Verde.
Casa África, which as an entity that promotes the Canary Islands archipelago as an international hub for Africa, offers its headquarters as a meeting point for the creation of contact networks between public and private institutions in Spain and Africa. In addition, on that same day, Casa África's Director General, Luis Padron, will hold a meeting with Nola Kianza, Founder and Executive Director of the Canadian Council for Africa, responsible for the promotion of trade and economic development between Canada and Africa since 2002 and that shall also be at Africagua.
