Encuentro de Operadores Turísticos Canarias-Marruecos
The Canary Islands Government, together with the Council of Economy and Finance and Proexca, the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the Technological Institute of Canarias, the Wilaya of Agadir and the region of Souss Massa Drâa, run the "Support Programme for the Regional Integration Process and Revitalization of Economic and Business Cooperation of Canarias - Souss Massa Drâa. Mobadara Canaria", financed with European funds.
It is as part of this programme that the event "Incentive Exchange Programme between tour operators: a familiarisation visit by travel agents and journalists" takes place, and whose aim is to strengthen the links between the Canary Islands and the Moroccan region of Souss Massa Drâa, mainly through air travel. For this, the new routes with Agadir and Casablanca will be reinforced, with Binter having made the first contact between operators in Agadir, which took place in the middle of May and during which 15 Canary Island tour operators and travel agencies went to Morocco.
As part of this action we have set up this familiarisation visit of travel agents and journalists, which looks at mobility and accessibility between the Canary Islands and the Souss Massa Drâa region. This familiarisation visit coincides with the launch of new air routes by Binter Canarias which link four important Moroccan cities with the archipelago.
Moroccan travel agents and journalists will from the 17th to the 21st June be between the islands of Gran Canaria and Tenerife, and where a workshop will be organised between Moroccan operators and those from the Canary Islands.
To be exact, Casa África will carry out the workshop on Monday 18th June at 19:00h
