Conferencia. El África contemporánea en términos de desarrollo
The daughter of the Burkina Faso professor Joseph Ki-Zerbo, historian, politician and one of the great thinkers of contemporary Africa who has most influenced his period, will give a conference at the University of Salamanca.
Françoise Ki-Zerbo, also native of Burkina Faso, currently works as a notary in Ouagadougou, the capital of her native country, although her working life has developed in countries such as Mali, Ivory Coast, Senegal or Chad, where she worked for the United Nations.
With a PhD in Law from the Sorbonne University (Paris, France) in the anthropological field, she has taken part in many seminars and workshops, many of them presenting her father's line of thinking, one of whose works belongs to the History and Politics Collection of Casa África.
The conference will be held in the Sala Menor of the Hospedería Fonseca, on Monday 26th September at 19:00 hours and with it will start the 2nd edition of the Master for Applied Anthropology, Communitary Health and Development and the Master for Tropical Diseases.
