Cine+Food
African gastronomy will be present the second edition of Cinema+Food, an initiative from the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Town Council, which takes cinema to the streets and mixes it with international cuisine. On this occasion, 25 countries will offer their best food to anyone who wishes to take enjoy good cinema and good food in the heart of the Gran Canary capital.
This 2nd edition of Cinema+Food will take place from 25th to 28th August at the Parque de Santa Catalina and this year four countries from the neighbouring continent will take part: Senegal, Morrocco, Equatorial Guinea and Mauritania which up till now had not participated in the initiative. This is produced through the Education Development campaign 'Africa in the kitchen' .
Just as last year, Cinema+Food offers a large range of world gastronomy to sample in the open air whilst enjoying the cinema, with 16 films for adults and children being screened. 25 countries plus two invited Spanish regions (Galicia and Cantabria) take part in this edition of Cinema+Food with typical dishes whose prices vary between 3 and 5 euros.
