Casa África estará presente en la Feria Internacional del Libro de Guadalajara

The Feria Internacional del Libro de Guadalajara (FIL, Guadalajara International Book Fair) is the most important Ibero-American editorial meeting, and an incredible cultural festival. Founded 24 years ago by the University of Guadalajara, this is a fair for professionals where the general public is also welcome, which differentiates it from the main fairs that take place throughout the world.

Casa África will be present at this important event by the hand of the Salón Internacional del Libro Africano (SILA, International African Literature Expo) , which will be present at FIL and take a stand to Mexico where it will present important African literature through Casa África´s various collections (essays, literature, history) and other publications from the neighbouring continent.

Aside from the stand (HH43), SILA has organised a conference as part of FIL´s official agenda, in which the 2011 Canary Islands meeting will be announced and the conclusions from the latest edition held this year in Puerto de la Cruz will be presented. SILA´s presentation at FIL will take place on November 30th at 5:30 pm in the Mariano Azuela Hall of the Guadalajara Expo.
