Casa África en la 11ª Edición de la Feria IMEX (Impulso Exterior) en Madrid
With the creation of IMEX Fair (Exterior Boost), whose first edition was held in January 2003, the first fair of International Business and Foreign Trade to be held in Spain was started.
On the 24th and 25th April 2013 the 11th edition will be presented, which has been improved, extended and especially enhanced by the exclusivity of the event in our country, conferring it a status of an annual meeting point for International Trade.
Casa Africa, through the panel devoted to this continent, will attend IMEX 2013, a show that will concentrate an efficient and innovative offering of products and services for company internationalisation.
Specifically, Casa África will participate in the table, Africa, the future for Spanish trade and investment, which will take place on 24th April from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m..
The destination of Spanish exports to Africa in 2012 increased 30% over the previous year, the largest increase seen, above any obtained in any other region of the world. The round table will differentiate three regions of the continent and present the key points for a Spanish SME to be successful, both in trade as well as in their installation, in a continent whose wealth is yet to be discovered.
Very close ties of brotherhood with almost all African countries are maintained from the Canary Islands, a work reinforced in recent years with the presence of Casa África in the islands, which turns out to be a great attraction for Spanish companies to value the importance of accessing Africa with a headquarters in the Canary Islands Special Zone.
The vision of the experts taking part is also embellished with the presentation from the financial institution BMCE Bank International, a reference in that continent, and that turns out to be ideal business bridge between Spain and Africa.
IMEX's appeal lies primarily in that it offers its visitors the pursuit of improving the competitiveness of their business, at a time of economic, financial and business upheaval, when it is more important than ever to promote awareness of business opportunities internationally and main keys and global economic environment perspectives, for later decision making.
Administrations (Spanish and from other countries), financial institutions and the large business network composed of companies engaged directly or indirectly with foreign business, will meet one more year at IMEX.
At IMEX, internationalisation is understood as the optimisation of investments, purchases and sales in new global market scenarios.
Many sectors are invited to this fair which lists, among others, the following reasons to attend:
- To access, in just one place, the most extensive and diversified information on the external sector.
- To contact with firms and institutions that provide services to successfully compete in increasingly globalised markets.
- To sell or find possible collaboration in a supplier, subcontractor, agent, importer or distributor.
- To identify real business opportunities, advantages and difficulties of making the leap to other markets to gain competitiveness.
- To get to know experiences of Spanish companies that are successful in other countries.
- To rate fundamental tools for foreign trade and new techniques in this field.
- To participate in unique conferences, composed by experts who may be the best guides to business abroad.
- To meet up with trade officials who are in charge in more than 40 countries that are accredited in Spain.
The event is on the 24th and 25th April 2013 in the Principe Felipe Conference Centre (Auditorium Hotel, Avenida Aragón, 400, Madrid)
