Canarias, una oportunidad de inversión
The Canary Islands archipelago enjoys a privileged geographical position which has always allowed it to act as a bridge between three continents: Africa- America-Europe .
The improvement of airport infrastructures in the past few years has contributed to strengthening this 'Tricontinality' of the islands, turning them into strategic point of communications and economic and trade relations at international level, which has validated them to become a headquarters for institutions as important as the World Food Program (WFP), which has repeatedly praised the strategic position of the Canary Islands and their good communications, which greatly simplifies the logistics of international agencies such as this.
To continue making progress, and reinforcing this line of work and action, conferences are organised, like this one that will take place on Wednesday 14th October at the headquarters of the CEOE in Madrid (Calle Diego de Leon, 50) and have the collaboration of institutions such as the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism; the Government of the Canary Islands; the Consortium of the Canary Islands Special Zone (ZEC); the Spanish Confederation of Business Organisations (CEOE); or the Regional Confederation of Entrepreneurs from the Canary Islands.
On behalf of Casa África, its Director General, Luis Padron, will take part in the conference "Spain-Africa via the Canary Islands", addressing major business and investment opportunities.
Other speakers will talk for example about the special features of Canary Islands taxation, something which makes them unquestionably attractive to the investor, among other characteristics that will be addressed by the other participants to thus exchange first-hand impressions of the present and future economy of the Canary Islands, for which especially promising prospects can be seen for the coming years.
