África Andando. Cabo Verde 2012
África Andando is an awareness programme that has been developed through expeditions to African countries looking to reinforce the values for living together together with interculturality and seeks to strengthen ties of friendship, knowledge and cooperation between the Canary Islands and Africa.
After three expeditions to Senegal, this 2012 África Andando heads to south Macaronesia, the Cape Verde Archipelago, where young people from the Canary Islands and Cape Verde will live a unique experience from 28th August to the 13th September 2012.
All those that meet the requirements can take part in the selection process that will be undertaken to finally travel to Cape Verde. The first step is to send this form and an individual work before the 23rd July.
Under the name África Andando 2012: Rumbo al Sur de la Macaronesia, the 40 young people chosen to take part in a trip through the most emblematic places of four of the Cape Verde islands during which they will undertake an itinerant educational programme. This will have more than 50 activities amongst which are conferences, visits, debates, games and workshops of different themes, destined to examine in detail mutual knowledge and strengthen the relationships of friendship and cooperation that exist between the Canary Islands and Africa, displaying aspects of history, nature and culture from both lands.
